The Developer Behind the Screen

My journey into technology didn't start with a grand plan—it began with curiosity. As a kid, I was fascinated by how things worked, constantly taking things apart (much to my parents' dismay) and trying to put them back together. That curiosity eventually led me to computer science, where I discovered the incredible power of code to bring ideas to life.

But something felt incomplete. Writing code that worked wasn't enough; I wanted to create experiences that felt right—that brought joy and solved real problems. This led me down a rabbit hole of design, psychology, and visual arts. I picked up a camera and started exploring photography, which fundamentally changed how I see the world.

Photography taught me about composition, lighting, and storytelling without words. It trained my eye to notice details others might miss. These skills unexpectedly transformed my approach to UI/UX design—suddenly, I wasn't just placing buttons on a screen; I was crafting visual narratives and guiding users through experiences with the same intentionality as composing a photograph.

Today, I'm grateful to work at the intersection of multiple passions—code, design, photography, and emerging technologies like AI. Based in Eldoret but working with clients worldwide, I've learned that great work transcends geography. What matters is the quality of your craft, the depth of your empathy for users, and your commitment to continuous learning.

Every project is an opportunity to learn something new, to push boundaries, and to create something that makes someone's day a little better. That's what drives me—not just building websites or apps, but crafting digital experiences that leave lasting impressions.
